On June 16, 2020 Apple will post an updated version of the program terms and conditions to Apple Business Manager. After that date, your organization will not be able to enroll devices or deploy new apps until an administrator has signed in to Apple Business Manager and accepted the new terms.
We have identified an issue with iOS 13 devices where Apple changed how this token is sent to MDMs. The token is sent only once during enrollment. Thus, the administrator will not be able to clear device passcodes on devices through according MDM action due to lack of the required token. The device may still send a token update message to the MDM server, but the message will not contain the token anymore. All devices with iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 are potentially affected by this issue. Therefore, it is extremely important to keep this token safe in order to retrieve it.
M-Way provided a fix with version 4.57.2 for handling changes of iOS token update messages made by Apple with iOS 13. This does only apply to all newly enrolled devices with version 4.57.2. If you have backups going back until September 2019 (iOS 13 release) please keep those in order to retrieve unlock tokens of already enrolled devices before 4.57.2 Otherwise administrator will have to re-enroll all already enrolled devices affected by this issue.
